Gates Super HC Narrow Section Molded Notch V-Belt Promotes smoother and quieter operation, with less belt slippage and wear for a longer service life, thus reducing costly maintenance time. More compact design compared to classic section V-belts and optimally designed for high power and space-constrained applications with small pulley diameter drives. The Flex-Weave coating is a patented fabric construction that protects the belt core from oil, contaminants and heat, thus extending belt life. Flex-Bond cords are forged into the body of the belt, resisting fatigue and impact, and absorbing bending stresses without damaging the cord. The precision-ground straight sides ensure a uniform wedge effect and allow the belt to fit perfectly into the pulley grooves. MN = Molded teeth reduce and better distribute thermal and bending stresses. Patented ethylene elastomer composite construction protects the belt against heat, ozone, and sunlight. Meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistance standards and ARPM/RMA IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements. Temperature Range: -70 Deg. F to +250 Deg. F (-57 Deg. C to +121 Deg. C).
